Faster DSL Services

WebBand now offers two flavors of DSL high speed Internet Service.

Advanced Virus-Free DSL Service includes a proprietary technology called CleanIP. CleanIP scans your Internet line and keeps the viruses and other nasty stuff the Internet can throw at you. Its the safest way to be online. Speeds start at 256kbps and prices at $26.95 per month.

Basic Internet is a new version. It DOES NOT include CleanIP service, but does offer higher speeds. This service can provide speeds up to 20Mbps. If you need speed and are not concerned with picking up a virus, then this service is for you.

Qwest DSL Upgrade

On Thursday November 18th, starting at 5am, Qwest will be doing an upgrade on our DSL service. Between the hours of 5am and 7am, your DSL service may be unavailable. They do not expect the maintenance to last past 7am.

If you have a red Internet light AFTER 7am, please reboot your DSL modem to reestablish service.

The upgrade was COMPLETED successfully at 6:30am on 11/18!

Thanksgiving Hours

G-Mail Outage

Google’s nearly two-hour Gmail outage Tuesday (September 1, 2009) was the result of a miscalculation regarding the capacity of its system, the company said late Tuesday.

Giving Blood

The Inland Northwest Blood Bank was at WebBand on Wednesday August 19th. Several employees and others from offices in our building donated blood. The Paul Mitchell School of Hair Design offered free haircuts to anyone who dropped by. It was a fun and “life-giving” event.

Short Mail Outage

We are moving our mail server tonight (07/24/2009). The move will take place sometime between 10pm and midnight and should not take more than a couple minutes. Hopefully it won’t affect anyone. If you can’t get your mail between those times, just wait a few minutes and try again – it should come back quickly. Thanks for your patience.

Wireless Maintenance

Our wireless network provider is doing a scheduled maintenance on Sunday July 19th from 12am (mid-night) to 6pm. During the maintenance, you will not have access to the Internet. This ONLY affects those on our wireless network – not DSL or dial-up users.
