WebBand Gives High Marks to K9 Web Protection

Many of you have been clamoring for a web filter to protect your family. We’ve hesitated in recommending in the past, but that changes today.

For the past couple months, we have been reviewing K9 Web Protection and have found it excellent. If you are looking for a way to protect your family (specifically your kids) from the dangers of the Internet, this product is for you. Here are a few key points:

  1. It’s FREE: We looked at several products that would have been revenue generating for us. We decided not to go that route believing that web protection should be free.
  2. It Works: K9 blocks what needs to be blocked and allows what needs to be allowed. The technology behind it is the most advanced that we tested. Put simply; it does what it’s supposed to do!
  3. It’s Fast: Most of the products we tested (including those that were not free) created a lag in surfing the Internet. K9 does not. During the tests, we ran speed tests and found that there was little delay in our connection quality.

K9 Web Protection is something that we feel we can put our name behind. If you would like more information on the product or download a tutorial, click here.

You can download a free copy visiting our online knowledge base. You’ll need to request a free license code (it takes just a moment) and then install a small program on your PC (each PC on your home network will need a license and copy of the software). Once installed, you’ll reboot your PC and the protection is ready for you to use.

We’d love to hear back on your experience with K9 Web Protection. Please go to the download page and click “Add a Comment” at the bottom of the page to share your experience with us and our user base.
